A chiropractic adjustment can make you feel so much better. Your body does not want to be out of alignment, and that’s exactly what an adjustment can help address. It is also known as chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation. The adjustment refers to the manipulation of the vertebrae that have abnormal movements and are not functioning properly. A chiropractic adjustment will assist in fixing these issues.
The goal of chiropractic treatment is to reduce the subluxation, increase the range of motion, reduce nerve irritability, and improve mobility. Our compassionate and qualified chiropractor will work with you to relieve this pain and get you back to being pain free every single day.
Although many people visit their chiropractor and have an adjustment when something feels out of alignment, a regular visit will help you avoid any pain in the future and will keep your body feeling great all day long.
If you are having one of those days when you are not in the best mood, an adjustment may actually help. Your body will feel much better, which will naturally improve your mood.
Ultralign Spinal Treatment
It has been stated in a New Zealand study that it can take up to seven years for chiropractors to fully developed the necessary skills to detect the subtle differences in spinal motion associated with spinal dysfunction (nerve interference).
Dr. Whyte has practiced chiropractic for over 14 years and has helped thousands of clients with back and neck pain. He has used over the years a variety of styles and systems to find and correct spinal dysfunction: upper cervical, drop table, manual and instrument adjusting. The one thing that has helped the most amount of clients is being specific with the analysis and delivering a specific chiropractic adjustment. The Ultralign Spinal Treatment System by Sigma Instruments is specific and results are reproduced able (high degree of inter-examiner reliability)…
Dr. Whyte considers every patient’s unique health factors when recommending a spinal treatment plan. Clients all have unique factors that need to be considered such as: spinal curvatures (scoliosis), age (newborn to centenarians), spinal health (arthritis), injuries (plates and screws) and more. The Ultralign Spinal Treatment is safe for the majority of these clients and conditions.
This developed by N.A.S.A. technology uses specialized software and equipment is able to detect the areas of spinal dysfunction with speed and accuracy. Dr. Whyte, then confirms the location of the involved spinal vertebrae and placement of the sigma instrument for the correction of spinal dysfunction. The Ultralign Spinal Treatment also determines the frequency for the adjustment and stops when the vertebrae has been corrected.
We at Atlas are excited to share this advance spinal treatment technology with everyone.
Ultralign Spinal Treatment Benefits
- Safe for children greater than 4 years of age
- Safe for seniors
- Drug free and surgery free treatment for neck and low back pain
- Pain free for the majority of clients
- Computer controlled detection and correction with as little as 10lbs of force
- Computer and sensor controlled treatment
- Spinal Dysfunction found and corrected with precision
The Nanaimo Ultralign Spinal Treatment System offers precise detection and correction of spinal dysfunction. The device firsts tests for a spinal dysfunction by sending a vibration through each vertebra, the vibration then echoes off the bone. The echo is then read by the Treatment System and is translated into readable graphs and bar charts on a computer for the Sigma Doctor. The Sigma Doctor analyzes the information and then performs a specific spinal treatment.
This method of spinal treatment technology has been determined to be safe and may be pain free for most individuals. Most individuals simply feel a series of vibrations as the vertebrae are vibrated back into their proper alignment.
How the Ultralign Spinal Treatment System Works
Spinal Dysfunction in the spine can cause back pain, headaches, loss of range of motion, and pain and tingling in the extremities. Chiropractic adjustments can correct these imbalances in the nervous system and help the spine remain in its proper alignment.
Other methods and systems typically rely on the chiropractor’s skills to determine which vertebrae are out of place and then applying various forces to push those vertebrae back into alignment. The Ultralign Adjusting Instruments can detect and correct the spinal dysfunction with as little as 10lbs of force and with accuracy.
The unique Ultralign Spinal Treatment System helps by providing objective information on the location of nerve interference for the benefit of the Sigma Doctor and patient. Once the misaligned vertebrae are located, the device can be set to deliver a slightly more forceful vibrating pulse to treat the vertebrae. The examination and treatment takes place in a seated posture. This allows clients that have mobility issues to get checked and corrected for spinal dysfunction.
The Ultralign Spinal Treatment System provides an assessment of each vertebrae. The Sigma Doctor has been specially trained to read these movement charts. Green and red bars denote lack of movement and the horizontal red line denotes frequency. The software program then plots this information into waveforms. Using the Ultralign Spinal Treatment System the Sigma Doctor can also test and post check the results of the spinal treatment. The goal of repeated treatments as it relates to the Ultralign Spinal Treatment System is to see each vertebrae moving together in the same pattern (frequency).
The entire session does not involve any twisting, pushing or pulling of the extremities or spine. Many patients find it remarkably effective in alleviating back pain and headaches and promoting movement of the spine.
Expectations should be?
Never expect one spinal treatment fix. Several follow-ups are required for this treatment to have an effect on your complaint area. This treatment does not take more then 5 minutes to test the entire spine and treat the areas of spinal dysfunction. In fact it takes longer for patient to remove their coat, empty their pockets, take off ear rings and walk in and out of the room. This treatment will not reverse a lifetime of damage to your spine, however it may offer pain relief and better function.

Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling)
Microneedling is most often used to improve the appearance of age-related fine lines and wrinkles as well as scars such as those resulting from acne. The procedure can be used on the face, except within the orbital rim, and elsewhere on the body. Although collagen induction therapy (CIT) is a comparatively new procedure, it has already gained popularity among clinicians and their clientele. Microneedling with a state-of-the-art device such as SkinPen® is versatile, minimally-invasive, and requires little downtime. CIT is simple and can be quite effective — as long as all aspects of the procedure are handled appropriately.
